BARCELONA!

We had a wonderful 3 days in Barcelona! Here are a few highlights from our trip with Spencer!

Buildings at the Port of Barcelona when we arrived at the beach
Jared and I at Icaria Beach the first day. It took us a while to get from the airport to the hotel to the beach, but we were so happy when we got there!
After the beach, we decided to go check out La Rambla for shopping and eating! Placa de Catalunya is at the top of La Rambla.
Me outside the Boqueria Market in La Rambla. Crazy amounts of food here!
Sangria and Tapas for dinner...Cheers!
Jared and Spencer enjoying a Cuban cigar from Gimeno in La Rambla at the end of a rough day at the beach! Haha!
The next day we went to Sitges Beach which was a 30 min train ride south of Barcelona. Everyone was going there on the train, so we knew it had to be good! Mas agua por favor! It was very hot the entire time we were there, but we found a lot of nice shaded areas and drank a LOT of water!
Nice combo of sandy and rocky beach in Sitges. A beautiful, modern, clean, rich beach town!
View from my beach chair of the church in Sitges
After we returned from Sitges, we got cleaned up to go watch the World Cup Finals! This is the entrance to Parc Montjuic before the football match started. This was an amazing sight to behold! We randomly picked this metro stop to get off at, and this is what we found!
Jared and Spencer in the restaurant after the game. Numero Uno! We had great seafood Paella, too!
View of the Plaza after the game (my guess is upwards of 15,000 people)
The next day, we decided to take a bus tour bc we were tired from walking around the previous 2 days. We only got off for the Gaudi Cathedral which was great! This is the front side of the Gaudi Cathedral. This is one of the most amazing cathedrals I have ever seen! There is so much detail on the outside!
Amazing modern depiction of the crucifixion. The 4 sides of the cathedral were all different.
One side of the Cathedral that had been restored and cleaned
The side that looks drippy
Neat building on the bus tour close to Mt. Tibidabo. Want to go back to check that out next time.

Hope you enjoyed this post! Have a great day!
