Here is an interesting quote about Atheism from Systematic Theology by Wayne Grudem.

"He knows no cause for anything, even his own existence. He has no hope for himself in time or eternity. When he denies the existence of God it is by an assumption of knowledge which transcends the limitations which his negative creed allows."

How often have I been led to think exactly like this concerning my life? My goals, ambitions,or even day to day choices....do they always acknowledge the existence of God and a hope for an eternal life spent with Him? Or, do they reveal my assumption that I know best?

This is tough to swallow...
