Jared and I went with my parents this past weekend to the Peak District and Derbyshire...more specifically Matlock, Matlock Bath, Chatsworth House, and Bakewell. The train ride out there was beautiful. Much more greenery and flat rolling hills than on the way to Scotland. All of the towns were cute and small. Not much to do in each town, so you had to take the bus to the different towns. In Edensor we saw Chatsworth House where the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire live and also Mr. Darcy's house from the movie "Pride and Prejudice". Our bed and breakfast was very cute and we had the full English breakfast there just like we had in Scotland. Hope you enjoy some of the photos below from the trip!

Amazing views from the cable cars!

We went in to the caves which was very cool (literally as cold as a fridge!), but we were glad to see the light at the end!

View of the train station at Matlock Bath. We unfortunately missed the train we were supposed to be on due to human error...a little me and a little of East Midlans trains...so we got home a little later than expected. All in all, a great 2 day weekend trip!
